We live in a corrupted system. The way to tackle corruption is to first acknowledge it exists. Only then is it possible to come up with ways of dealing with it, but don't make the mistake of believing the system can or will uncorrupt itself.

Snakes and Eyes

Here we are again with another in the series of articles categorised as “Life Imitates Art”. In this case, the resemblance has been Officially Recognised too, albeit simply dismissed by “fact checkers” as “coincidence, confirmation bias, poor estimations of likelihoods by chance and false positives”. You can of course make your own mind up, if you want to. For now.

The things in question are the recent murder of the American political activist Charlie Kirk, and a 1998 film titled “Snake Eyes” starring the world’s favourite over-actor Nicholas Cage.

The Official Story of the Charlie Kirk murder is that on September 10th 2025, Kirk was speaking to an audience on the campus of Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah. During a conversation with a member of the audience where the topic was mass shootings in the US, the 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson acted as a “lone gunman”, firing a single fatal shot from the roof of a nearby building using a rifle at a distance of approximately 130 metres.

That’s quite an accomplished piece of marksmanship, given that at that range, to miss would require your aim to be off by just 0.11018°, or the barrel to be less than 1mm to the left or right.

Now we have a grasp of the Official Story and some of the details, let’s have a look at this 1998 film. At the very start there is a news announcer being recorded outside the Powell Millennium building, reporting on the upcoming boxing match, and we see the huge promotional sign with details of the event…

Here we see the fight between “Tyler the Executioner” and Mexican contender Ruiz scheduled for 10:00pm on September 19th.

There are others who have reported on the interesting parallels between the Kirk shooting and this film who have stated the date in the film is September 10th, which is the same date that Charlie Kirk was shot by Tyler, his “executioner”. The dates are not the same, there is an entire 9 days difference between the date that Tyler the Executioner took part in a shooting, and Tyler the Executioner took part in a shooting.

Yes, there was a shooting in the film. Shortly before the shooting in the film we see this…

…where you can see just below the red neon signage at the top what looks to be an eye. This eye turns out to be a roving camera that sees everything including details of the shooting that were otherwise not captured on any of the hundreds of other cameras in the venue. An “all-seeing eye” if you will. You can also see the number 7 on a sign being held up in the audience. This is seen repeatedly just before the shooting. We’ll come back to the 7 thing later.

So in the film, the victim of the shooting is Charles Kirkland. Some people have noticed that the names Charles Kirkland and Charlie Kirk are quite similar. In the film Charles Kirkland is the US Secretary of Defence, and he is shot in the neck and ends up dead. Some people have noticed that there is a similarity here also, in that Charlie Kirk and Charles Kirkland both were shot in the neck and killed.

In the film though, at first the audience is informed that the assassin is a Palestinian terrorist named Tarik Ben Rabat, who shot and killed Kirkland over the Pentagon’s defence cooperation with Israel. Spoiler alert, it turns out this was all an inside job, and the assassin was just someone who worked for the Government, who was then executed himself to clear up loose ends.

There is no suggestion that Charlie Kirk was killed by a Palestinian terrorist. Charlie Kirk was well known to be “Pro-Israel” as he states at some point in the following clip from Episode 314 of the PBD Podcast (YouTube) (Rumble)…

Just like the film has a tangential link to the conflict between Israel and Palestine, so did Charlie Kirk, as he seemed to have some questions about the apparent lack of a timely response to the Hamas “invasion” on the 7th October given the fact that Israel is the most well defended country in the world and you can fly a military helicopter from any point in that region to the site of the “invasion” in way less than an hour.

It would appear though from the Official Story that Tyler Robinson was not upset about Kirk being “pro-Israel” or Kirk questioning how the “invasion” was allowed to continue for 6+ hours with zero military response when “the whole country is the IDF” and that “you can not go 10 feet without running into a 19 year-old with an AR-15“, but was upset about “hate” or something. It does not appear that Robinson had any issues over the activities of Israel with regard to Palestine over the last (at the time of writing this in 2025) 77 years since the State of Israel was created in 1948, following the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of Resolution 181 on the 29th November 1947, which recommended the partitioning of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states.

The United Nations was formed in 1945, ostensibly to save humanity from the ravages of war, and to promote peace and security. The founding nations were the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and China, and this was signed off by representatives of 50 nations.

This year, 2025, the year Charlie Kirk was killed, marks 77 years since the unironically named United Nations took a single nation and divided it. This act ignited a conflict that has at this point, lasted 77 years. Nothing says “United” and “Peace” like splitting a country by force between two politicised and largely incompatible belief systems and starting a forever war.

We mentioned the number 7 appearing repeatedly in the film, shortly before the shooting takes place.

This year, the year of the real-life shooting of Charlie Kirk, is 77 years since the formation of the State of Israel, which is just a coincidence of course.

There is also lots of chatter online currently about some kind of tribute to Charlie Kirk involving the number 77. These range from t-shirts emblazoned with the text “Kirk 77” to talk of Elon Musk putting the number 77 on all his rockets as a tribute to Kirk. There does not appear to be any good evidence that these are real, but the chatter is there, and “AI” seems convinced it’s true.

If anything this is a good example why “AI” cannot be trusted and just how easy it is to get it to spit out what is almost certainly complete garbage as it simply regurgitates a paraphrased version of whatever it has ingested, regardless of accuracy or reality.

Another interesting parallel is that the murder of Charlie Kirk has been repeatedly compared to the JFK assassination. In the film, the murder of Charles Kirkland is compared to the JFK assassination as an opportunity for a media guy Lou Logan to get his big break.

Finally we have the hand symbol in the cover image for the film…

Ah well, I’m sure it’s nothing.

This is where “fact checkers” have benevolently done your thinking for you, and all you need to do is repeat the following…
