More Ridiculous “Science”…

So there is always stupid stuff being posted on social media. There are always stupid claims being made by shills promoting whatever Government, Pharma and Tech nonsense is the Current Day[tm] trend.
Since 2020 there has been a sustained effort to try and convince the public just how magical the COVID “vaccines” are, how many lives they have saved, and why they are an incredible “miracle” brought to you by “Science”.
Here is a recent example…
This was on Facebook, but has probably been posted elsewhere. The text that went along with this image is as follows:
The data is finally confirmed, COVID-19 vaccines have saved approximately 2.5 million lives globally between 2020 and 2024, according to a landmark study. By preventing severe illness and death from SARS-CoV-2, vaccines became one of the most powerful tools in modern public health. The research reveals that for every 5,400 vaccine doses administered, one death was averted. Most of these lives saved belonged to older adults and people vaccinated before infection, with the greatest impact seen during the Omicron waves.
Some unfounded drivel posted by one of many accounts on social media that exist solely to promote Establishment lies.
This isn’t just a statistic. It’s millions of families spared from tragedy, communities kept intact, and healthcare systems relieved. The study also estimates that COVID-19 vaccination preserved nearly 14.8 million years of life worldwide. These numbers underscore how vaccination has fundamentally changed the trajectory of the pandemic and saved countless lives.
While new variants may emerge and immunity may wane over time, the proven life-saving impact of vaccines remains clear. As the world moves into a new phase of pandemic management, this data offers a powerful reminder, widespread vaccination saves lives, reduces suffering, and remains a cornerstone of global health defense.

Let’s have a look at this “finally confirmed” data shall we?
Here are a few quotes taken directly from this study…
“Lives and life-years saved worldwide among vaccinated individuals from the first licensing of vaccines in December 2020 until October 2024 were estimated.”
“The number of deaths that might have occurred without vaccination and plausible reductions of mortality with diverse vaccines were estimated.”
“The analysis compares the outcomes of global COVID-19 vaccination strategies with a scenario of no vaccination using best estimates“
“Similarly, life-years saved (LYi) are estimated“
“Total life-years saved are estimated“
“We assume that absent vaccination, all people would have been infected during the Omicron period.”
“we use estimates from a systematic review for younger-age strata”
“from a meta-analysis of case-fatality rates and studies estimating asymptomatic infection rates for long-term care residents.”
“We assume VE equals 75%”
“We calculated the number of vaccine doses required to avert 1 death and to save 1 life-year by dividing estimated benefits by the total number of 13.64 billion vaccine doses administered worldwide.”
My, there does seem to be a lot of estimates and assumptions. What there does not appear to be much of is actual evidence.
Two of the most egregious assumptions that form the basis for all the fancy maths that are presented as evidence for the conclusion are:
- that absent vaccination, all people would have been infected during the Omicron period
- VE equals 75%
VE in this case is Vaccine Efficacy, in other words they have just assumed that 75% of the time the COVID “vaccines” were “effective”, although as we now know none of the manufacturers actually had any objective they were looking to be effective at (aside from making millions of dollarpounds and some other malevolent motivations). None of the clinical trials actually looked at preventing transmission, illness or death, by their own admission. Just picking 75% out of thin air is not science.
But worse than that is this assumption that during the “Omicron period”…
“all people would have been infected”
Really? All people? Everyone?
As part of the preamble they state “Estimates in this study are substantially more conservative than previous calculations”, but to assume “all people”, i.e. literally everyone was infected is not only NOT a conservative estimate, but it is impossible to be any more extreme than “all people”.
There is also this interesting line:
Our estimates do not separate deaths averted from VE vs deaths caused from vaccination-related harms. Some may argue that, depending on risk aversion and regret considerations, a death caused because of harm may not carry the same weight as a death averted because of efficacy.

Seriously? A “death caused because of harm may not carry the same weight as a death averted because of efficacy”? Who gets to decide if an actual death carries the same “weight” as a fantasy “death averted”, a thing that only exists in papers like this where completely made up numbers multiply and divide into another made up number?
I personally think actual deaths are worse than fake non-deaths, but maybe I am just being overly fussy.
This trash is what is currently passing for “science”, and shills will keep pushing this garbage. It is important to call this out for the nonsensical lies it is. Maybe nothing will change. Maybe this stuff will just carry on getting pumped out by these media whores, but we do not have to pretend it’s true.
