We live in a corrupted system. The way to tackle corruption is to first acknowledge it exists. Only then is it possible to come up with ways of dealing with it, but don't make the mistake of believing the system can or will uncorrupt itself.

Behavioural Insights Team Net Zero Report – Published in Error

On the 19th October 2021 the UK Government published a report from the Behavioural Insights Team. Very soon after that it was removed as according to the Government website, it was “published in error”. Not that the report was erroneous, just that it was an error that it was published. The title of the report is “Net Zero: principles for successful behaviour change initiatives” and as of today the 29th October 2021 if you search for that exact title on Google you’ll find it in the search results, as you can see here:

This is the link where the article was:

…and if you follow that now, you’ll see this:

Why would the Government and the Behavioural Insights Team produce a 56 page report, publish it and then decide it was a mistake to publish it?

Here is a link to the actual report, and we’ll take a quick look at the contents to see if we can find anything that might give us a clue as to why it was quickly pulled off the Government website.

The document introduces us to the BI Team with the following…

The Behavioural Insights Team, also known as the Nudge Unit, is a social-purpose company. Originally set up at the heart of the UK government, we are now a global company with offices around the world.

Our mission is to improve people’s lives by applying behavioural insights – evidence on how people make decisions and behave – to improve public policies and public services

The whimsically named “Nudge Unit” is now a “global company”. What a surprise. So what’s this Net Zero all about? Well they explain that:

Achieving Net Zero requires significant behavioural change, including rapid and widespread adoption of new technologies, and a significant reduction in demand for some high-carbon activities such as flying and eating ruminant meat and dairy.

Net Zero is allegedly about reducing carbon emissions to a net zero, as the name implies. The main trouble with that is it’s insane. I will be publishing some information regarding the whole carbon is a pollutant lie, and the motivations behind it, but for now understand that it is completely wrapped up in all the usual schemes, the Great Reset, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the bio-security Smart Cities and energy/social credit scoring system these lunatics want to impose on humanity. For now, we’ll just consider the document in question and why the Government decided it was an “error” to publish it.

Here is a quote from the document in question:

Government statements, actions and laws powerfully shape perceptions of normative and acceptable behaviour. For instance, even with public criticism being high, many still perceived government approval as the yardstick for safe
behaviour during COVID-19 ‘we’re allowed to do this now [so must be safe]…’. This reveals, for many, a deep set reverence for legitimate government authority, regardless of one’s personal political views. Being an early and visible adopter may help deliver this message. For instance, national leaders publicly receiving their COVID-19 vaccination on national television sends a strong signal to citizens to trust in the safety of the vaccinations.

Let’s just read that bit again…

“This reveals, for many, a deep set reverence for legitimate government authority, regardless of one’s personal political views.”

The dictionary.com website defines the word “reverence” as:

noun reverence
A feeling or attitude of deep respect tinged with awe; veneration.

The outward manifestation of this feeling: to pay reverence.

A gesture indicative of deep respect; an obeisance, bow, or curtsy.

The state of being revered, or treated with respect tinged with awe.

(initial capital letter)
A title used in addressing or mentioning a member of the clergy
(usually preceded by your or his).

verb (used with object)
reverenced, reverencing.
To regard or treat with reverence; venerate: One should reverence God and His laws.

We know this to be true, and so does the Government and its Behavioural “Nudge” Units. There is a neo-religious aspect to how many people see the Government, like a supernatural Authority not beholden to the rules the mere mortals that make up the general public are subjected to. This asymmetrical master/slave relationship is inculcated into every citizen, or at least an attempt is made to do so.

Ultimately this paper draws the conclusion that the public can be quite easily “nudged” into changing their behaviour, and on page 30 of the PDF state that as people “have a powerful tendency to conform” and also have “an obligation to reciprocate”, these traits can be leveraged to manipulate the public into the desired behaviour, often without them explicitly being aware of this manipulation.

This rather overtly demeaning paper stating quite clearly how easily manipulated the public is, that being because it is largely founded on a quasi-religious belief system, is precisely why it was taken down and deemed to be “published in error”. It was just a little to too self-congratulatory. Just a bit over the top when essentially describing the Government as the people’s God. The lack of self-awareness from the writers is no surprise at all, this is what they do for a living after all, find new and more sneaky ways to trick and manipulate the public into doing things they don’t want. But the “error” was the decision to publish this and make it clear for all to see. So it was removed.

This is worth a read if only to understand just how these kinds of people and Governments view the public. If anyone was still under the illusion that the Government is just a group of elected representatives performing the will of the people, this document should be a wakeup call. The State sees the public as not just tax-cattle, but generally cattle to be herded into behaviours that suit the long-term agendas the Government wants to pursue, and cattle that worship their God, the State.

It doesn’t need to be this way though. They only appear to have the power to do this because the public largely hands them that power. We can take it back, non-violently and simply, by disengaging with the system designed by tyrants and oligarchs to horde everything for themselves and pretend they are doing us a favour while stealing everything via threats and manipulation.
